Hello, and welcome to my webpage! I'm Dorien Van den Abbeele, a professional & qualified translator with over 10 years experience, specializing in the fields of software, fashion & tourism.

After earning a Master's Degree in Translation (English/Spanish/Dutch) in 2006 at the Faculty of Translation Studies of University College Ghent in Belgium & gaining useful experience in the private sector, I created VDA Translations & started translating full time as a freelancer in 2012, right before moving abroad. I passed the ATA certification exam for English-Dutch in September 2013.
